Education
Dr. Bakman earned a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited graduate program at Azusa Pacific University. Prior, she obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University.
Experience
Throughout her graduate education, Dr. Bakman received clinical training at a variety of sites, including a community mental health clinic, a medical hospital, and multiple correctional facilities. Dr. Bakman completed a one-year APA-accredited internship at Springfield Hospital Center, where she specialized in treating serious mental illness. Subsequently, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Gold Standard Forensics, specializing in forensic evaluations.
In addition to seeing clients in private practice, Dr. Bakman conducts psychological assessments and forensic evaluations. She also has a passion for research and has published articles on various topics related to clinical and forensic practice.
